Who We Are

The Deep Forest Foundation (DFF) was founded in 2017 to provide philanthropic assistance to indigenous people throughout the world with the aim of strengthening their communities, preserving their traditions and protecting their native lands. These territories cover large areas of the planet that are often habitats for unparalleled biodiversity. We strongly believe their protection must go hand in hand with safeguarding and empowering the people who live in them. Throughout our current and future work, we will always aim to respect and celebrate the deep and unique connection between the culture of the people we seek to support and the environment in which they live.
